Are you ready for the new VAT- Report in Norway?

This article has been written with business owner in Norway in mind, especially those who are interested in their company's finance and accounting. Norway VAT reports are sent out every two months. The changes planned to be introduced in January will apply to the report sent within April 10th, for the first term of 2022 (January, February).

Any corrections for previous terms will have to be sent via Altinn with the use of the old form.

The new report will not be sent via Altinn, but directly from the accounting system to the Tax Office. This will  allow for fewer mistakes.

This report will include additional lines and codes that will make life easier both for companies, but also for accountants, e.g. loss related to unpaid sales invoices (bad debt, tap av krav).
